Company Officer Academy
 The TFCA Company Officer Academy is a focused, 2.5-day leadership program designed for fire service professionals serving at the Company Officer level. Each class is intentionally limited to 35 participants to ensure an interactive learning environment and meaningful peer engagement.
This academy delivers practical, real-world instruction that supports both newly promoted and seasoned officers seeking to strengthen their leadership effectiveness. Through targeted content and applicable scenarios, attendees will gain the skills, knowledge, and insight needed to lead teams with confidence, accountability, and excellence—on and off the fireground.
Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is not limited to a certain department. This program is open to attendees ranked up to the Company Officer level. The agenda is structured to allow travel in on Monday morning and departure Wednesday afternoon, helping minimize time away from duty and reduce overall lodging costs.

Sponsorship Opportunities
TFCA is accepting sponsorships for the Company Officer Academy, offering an opportunity for companies to support the next generation of fire service leaders by providing lunch for academy participants. Lunch sponsors will receive recognition throughout the program while directly contributing to a high-impact learning experience for Company Officers from across the state. Sponsorships help keep registration costs accessible while enhancing the overall attendee experience.
Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given for written requests received 10 days before the Company Officer Academy start date. Cancellations must be received in writing from the original registrant to [email protected]. No cancellations will be taken by phone.
Registrants who do not attend the Academy and/or do not contact TFCA via written correspondence during the set window as directed above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee.
Substitution Policy
Substitute attendees may be named up to one day in advance, or during onsite registration. Notification of substitution must be submitted in writing from the original registrant to [email protected]. No substitutions will be taken by phone.
